The Future of Alumni in the Eyes of the Alumni Association President

Hello Sul Ross Alumni and Friends!

I am Brittney Chavez and I am currently serving at the President of the Association Board of Directors. As such I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and send a personal invitation to all of you to become involved with the Alumni Association.

Over the past year the Alumni Association set some new and exciting goals that we hope you will take part in. This is just a little outline of the goals we will be discussing at the Homecoming meeting to be held on October 20th in Alpine at 11:30 am to see the full schedule or to register for the full event please click here https://www.sulross.edu/page/4071/2018-homecoming-alumni-weekend . Of course you are not required to register for the entire weekend to attend the general meeting but we would love to have you join us for all of it!

Goal 1 Create more Alumni Chapters across Texas-In order to give more alumni better networking opportunities regardless of geographic location. You may have already been notified in the DFW or Austin areas by Chapters attempting to get off the ground.

Goal 2 Increase Attendance at Homecoming- Create a destination event alumni plan each year.

Goal 3 Increase overall alumni engagement, volunteer opportunities, and memberships for a lifelong Sul Ross family experience.  Please do not hesitate to contact us on ways to become involved. We are moving and shaking things up!

On behalf of the Sul Ross Alumni Association, please join us for Homecoming, join us in membership, join us for a drink, join us for the future of Sul Ross. We are the past, the present and we will work to make the future of Sul Ross GREAT!!

Thank you! GO LOBOS!!
