QUALITY ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM
QEP Coordinators, April Aultman Becker and Dan Foley attended the 2017 SACSCOC Institute on Quality Enhancement and Accreditation in Austin from July 16-19. At the institute, they were able to learn more about the accreditation process and standards and were able to connect with colleagues across the region to discuss plans for SRSU’s QEP. This fall, all faculty will have the opportunity to get involved with our QEP: Compass: Navigating Excellence through Effective Communication. Watch for coming announcements!

Ready for Fall?
Departments are looking forward to the start of the academic year, so IR has received more departmental requests over the last few weeks. Remember to get in the queue as early as possible. You may place a data request using the IR Data Request Form.
Similar to other departments, IR is getting ready for the new semester. In an effort to improve the dissemination of basics facts, IR will be launching a new blog the first week of Fall 2017. Stay tuned!
SUMMER SACSCOC CONFERENCE IN AUSTIN
Libby Newman, Coordinator for Institutional Effectiveness, recently attended the SACSCOC Summer Institute in Austin. The conference was very informative on the upcoming SACSCOC review processes as well as confirmation on the timing for changes on administrative assessment reports, as planned, revisions for 2017-2018 reports will begin this upcoming assessment year. Please keep on the lookout for information regarding all Administrative assessment reports. Workshops for revisions and updates will begin in fall 2017 for all administrative departments.
LOOKING GOOD
The SRSU 2018 Accreditation Compliance Report is nearing completion, and I would like to thank the many faculty, staff, and administrators who have contributed to the documents and narratives. The report will be sent to our off-site reviewers in September, and then in April 2018, we will host our on-site reviewers.
