In honor of International Games Day on November 21st, we’ll be giving you highlights of games available at the Bryan Wildenthal Memorial Library. We already have around 200 video games SRSU students and staff can check out for various consoles, and we are in the process of adding a ton of tabletop games and puzzles for you as well. We’ll also have a Gaming Room set up soon on the library’s first floor room 110.
All of this comes just in time for finals, when you are looking for a way to de-stress between study sessions, why not unwind by playing games in the library with friends?
What is International Games Day? you ask. It’s a chance to connect communities through their libraries around the educational, recreational, and social value of all types of games. It’s run by volunteers around the world and supported by the American Library Association in collaboration with Nordic Game Day and the Australian Library and Information Association.
Keep an eye on this blog for game reviews and more on gaming at the library as International Games Day approaches!
