We are celebrating Earth Day by creating a temporary makerspace.
Members of the SRSU Community and surrounding area are invited to come be an engineer, a scientist, a journalist, or an artist.

Performance time is 7:30 p.m.
Cinco de Mayo Celebration on Saturday, May 4 in Alpine
Join the Sul Ross Spanish Club and the Mexican American community of Alpine to celebrate Cinco de Mayo on Saturday, May 4.
The event will kick off at 5:00 p.m. with a parade departing from the Civic Center on Holland Ave.
In Market Square along Murphy Street, there will be mariachis, ballet folklorico, and Sul Ross Professor Mark Saka will speak about the historical events which inspired Mexico’s Cinco de Mayo celebration.
Food vendors will begin serving at noon.
STUDY-A-THON on Thursday, May 9 from 2:00-10:00 p.m. in the Library
Sul Ross State University will soon be hosting its first ever Study-A-Thon!
It will take place on dead day, Thursday, May 9 in the Bryan Wildenthal Memorial Library from 2:00-10:00 p.m. (these are extended library hours)!
There will be tutors, peer mentors, and faculty to help and assist students.
We will have a citation station, algebra hour, and one-on-one tutoring.
This is the perfect opportunity to make that last push to finish the semester strong!
We will also have coffee, snacks, and prizes, along with activities that will help you distress and enhance your study efforts!
