Using Kaltura Lecture Capture
Kaltura Capture Desktop Recorder enables easy video creation anywhere by anyone. Kaltura Capture has a simple user interface, requiring only one click to record, without complex setup or a lengthy learning curve. Kaltura Capture is supported on both Windows and Mac. You can record two camera inputs at once, two screens, or a camera and a screen.
if you choose to use Kaltura Lecture Capture on your SRSU computer, you will need to have OIT install the software, but you are free to install Kaltura on your personal work computers. The process for downloading and installing on your personal computer can be found in the “SHSU Blackboard Kaltura How-To” video below.

Using Collaborate Ultra
Bb Collaborate Ultra is a Blackboard feature that many SRSU online instructors use to meet virtually with their students, hold real-time, interactive classes, record lectures and hold office hours within their Blackboard course. Sessions can also recorded.

Using Zoom
Zoom is the campus-licensed web conferencing service offered by OIT. We currently have many instructors meeting virtually with their students or delivering lectures to remote students/sites using Zoom.
